To all Town of Erin Residents and Friends of
St. Patrick Church of Erin

In July of l999, St. Patrick Church celebrated its last Mass as a parish. We wanted to update all of you on our progress to reopen our beautiful, historic, 146-year old St. Patrick Church of Erin.
From the time of our closing two years ago, the Save St. Patrick group has been meeting at the Erin Town Hall the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. During the summer months we begin at 6:30 p.m. in front of St. Patrick Church to pray the Rosary (weather permitting). We thank the Town of Erin for providing us with a meeting place and also for their rezoning efforts to protect St. Patrick from an easy sale. We would love to have you join us, homemade desserts and coffee always follow our meetings!
Our group has been instrumental in securing ten special Masses at St. Patrick during the past two years.
Two Special Upcoming Masses
Friday, Aug. 10, 2001 at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001 at 8 a.m. Please contact Joan Coffey at 262-673-2193 or Nancy Henke at 262-673-5219 to confirm future Mass dates and times.
In June of 2000, we filed as a not-for-profit corporation
Preservation Fund, Inc. Our mission is to preserve our historic church and to foster respect and appreciation for the sacrifices our ancestors made. For those of you have never had the opportunity to see the inside of St. Patrick Church, please visit our web site at www.savestpatrick.com or better yet come to our next special Mass.
Finally, in April of 2001, we filed an appeal with the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, to reopen St. Patrick Church.
Our expenses continue, and it has been through the generous support of parishioners, family and friends that we have been able to continue this most important endeavor. No contribution is too small and all are tax deductible. Please consider donating in honor of a deceased relative, a favorite priest, a special anniversary or as a gift to a special person in your life and help preserve St. Patrick Church for future generations.
