The St. Patrick Preservation Group is pleased to announce that St. Kilian Parish of Hartford will celebrate the annual:

Mass on St. Patrick’s Day
Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 8:30 a.m.
St. Patrick’s Chapel
1908 Highway 83 • Town of Erin • Wisconsin

Hope you will join us to start the day as
the Irish do in Ireland, followed by the
St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 11:00 a.m.
Any questions – call Joan at 262/673-2193

We are also pleased to report that the St. Patrick’s Rectory has been rented. It is wonderful to see lights on and smoke coming from the chimney on these cold, winter mornings.

The St. Patrick’s Altar Society has elected new officers for 2011. They are: President – Marge VanBeckum and Secretary & Treasurer – Joan Coffey,

Congratulations to Evarist Henke, whose model of Jack Daniel’s original office, located on the grounds of the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, is featured in the January 2011 calendar photo distributed by the Tennessee Squire Association. The calendar goes out to over 10,000 people. So far Ev has recreated 115 historic buildings but the one that got everything started--St. Patrick’s Church in the Town of Erin! Don’t forget to your copy of the 150th Anniversary History Book of St. Patrick’s Church lovingly put together by Ev’s wife, Nancy and his daughter Mary Hasslinger. You can reach Nancy Henke at 262/673-5219 or E-mail Mary Hasslinger at mary.weddingday@att.net.

We again thank you for your ongoing support as we enter our twelfth year, as we continue our goal to preserve St. Patrick’s Chapel--an important part of the history of the Town of Erin. For continued updates, please visit our web site at www.savestpatrick.com (check out the latest pictures) or join us the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Erin Town Hall.
